Something GROOVY for Every Inning:

1st:  Batters hit off of batting tee

2nd: Kick-Ball Inning (no gloves)

3rd:  Bat regular-Run bases backward

4th:  Mat Ball (unlimited arc) – Run bases clockwise

5th:  Bat opposite hand-4 outs-Coin Flip for a run

6th:  Bat regular/one pitch-Defense allowed do-over batter

RULES:

*Game is 6 innings or 55 min from first pitch whichever comes first.

*Coin flip will determine home team

*Home team will draw a playing card to determine what inning rules the game will start with.

(Ex. if a 3 is drawn game starts with 3rd inn. rules,then 4th,5th,6th,1st,2nd)

*Every player dressed for the decades earns ½ run (5 maximum/team) Note:Costumes must be noticeable and require 3 pieces,a hat and a t-shirt is not considered a costume .

*Each team designates a “Melon Head” (this person carries a watermelon every time he/she crosses plate the team earns 3 runs)

*Water Melon Hits: Automatic Homerun

*Last out of every inning plays catcher

*Every runner stopped at 2nd base takes a “mystery shot”

*Homerun Maximum: 3/Game – Free Pitcher for qualifiers
